About
A successful Sales Representative develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients to increase revenue. Ensures that organizational goods or services consistently meet client needs. Reports on sales activities and creates sales quotations for customers. Typically handles larger or more complex client accounts. Responsible for reviewing accounts, selling new business to existing accounts, and converting accounts to a higher level of managed care. May be responsible for sustaining and renewing client contracts. Work is highly independent.
ResponsibilitiesAggressively identify, pursue and acquire a customer base to generate and maintain profitability to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.Issue and follow-up on preventive maintenance service agreements while managing efforts to negotiate and close.Develop a clear understanding of customer's business needs and requirements through frequent communication and visits.Adequately answer customer's technical questions, concerns, and potential obstacles.Conduct sales presentations to showcase KenMor's services to existing and potential customers.Obtain sale prospects through cold calling, relationship building, networking, referrals, etc.Maintain close contact with appropriate level managers, individuals at customer sites, & senior management.Understand the markets in which KenMor and its customers compete and the factors that affect a customer's profitability.Perform special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.RequirementsHigh school diploma with a minimum of five years of experience performing similar key primary responsibilities.Familiarity with electrical distribution systems and testing.Experience selling maintenance contracts, service agreements, or any other intangible service.Knowledge of Infrared Thermographic Imaging, Ultrasonic Testing, and Power Quality Analysis.Previous field sales or business sales (B2B) experience preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Basic knowledge of construction safety work rules and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations including, NFPA70E and NFPA 70B fire protection safety standards.Ability to pass an MVR check.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and Outlook.
