Oversee daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations Develop and maintain menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of residents Supervise, schedule, and train dietary staff Monitor food preparation and service to ensure quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met Coordinate with nursing and clinical teams regarding residents' dietary restrictions and preferences Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain budget controls Participate in care planning meetings and quality assurance programs
Requirements:
Prior experience in a dietary management role in a long-term care or healthcare setting Knowledge of dietary regulations for skilled nursing facilities ServSafe certification preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Passion for serving seniors and working in a team environment
