About
Develops and implements nutrition care plans including initial assessment of patients' nutritional status, patient risk and estimated nutrient requirements. Determines appropriate route and composition of nutritional therapy. Determines and ensures use of appropriate parameters to monitor patient response to nutritional therapy and makes modifications as necessary to achieve desired outcome. Performs metabolic cart studies to identify patient energy requirement. Determines criteria for patient nutrition education and provides nutrition counseling to patients consistent with their comprehensive needs and long term goals. Collaborates with Care Coordinator to address special nutritional needs for patients discharge planning.

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition Science Current Illinois Clinical Dietician license 3 years clinical experience 3 years nutrition support experience
Preferred
Master's in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition Science Pediatric Clinical Nutrition
