Participates as a team member on the Imaging Center Nursing Care team and the Rapid Response team utilizing Basic EMT & Paramedic skills and following medically approved protocols within Imaging and the CSC. Helps maintain Rapid Response Team equipment within the Imaging Center. Other duties as assigned by Imaging leadership What you will do as an EMT - Paramedic:
Performs Imaging patient intake, pre- and post-procedure monitoring Conducts initial assessment of the condition of the patient and determines a course of action applying an approved patient care protocol Provides basic life support and operate within their license with the State of Minnesota under the medical direction of the clinic Medical Director Appropriately triages patient to receive support and remain in the clinic for their scheduled appointment or contact 911 and hand off patient for transport to emergency department Maintains high level of knowledge and proficiency in protocols and attends training and case reviews as warranted. Demonstrates ability to provide applicable care/service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level of population served
Minimum qualifications:
Licensed as a Paramedic in State of Minnesota Current CPR/BLS certification Minimum of one year active EMT-P experience Ability to lift 25 lbs
Location: 909 Fulton St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455 Hours: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week.
