Perform detailed patient assessments, advise on necessary tests, and collaborate on tailored care strategies Diagnose and address acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, independently or with physician collaboration Provide education to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies relevant to your practice Engage in follow-up care and long-term health management for patients Work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive and holistic patient care Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certifications Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Colorado National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Skills That Make You Stand Out
