Perform thorough patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care strategies Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or long-term health conditions independently or in conjunction with physicians (based on your certifications) Empower patients and their families with knowledge about prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management Prescribe necessary medications and treatments within your practice framework Engage in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care initiatives Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, comprehensive care Meticulously document within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program Essential Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire both within 90 days) What Distinguishes You
