Occupational Therapist $46.90 - $62.85 per hour Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave Medical, dental, and life insurance benefits CalPERS eligible position Job Summary Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Special Education, the Occupational Therapist participates as a member of a transdisciplinary team in the assessment of students with physical, medical, mental, developmental and/or emotional disability to determine current levels of motor development and/or cognitive functioning; develops recommendations and a plan that addresses the identified needs; identifies and addresses areas of family concern regarding a student's development; and assists other staff in implementing activities and/or techniques that address the identified student needs. Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Board of Occupational Therapy license and National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy certification. Experience in a school district or working with children preferred. Valid California Driver license to travel to district sites and meetings. CPR-First Aid certification is required if hired.
