Wednesday: 2:00 PM - 8:30 PM Thursday: 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM Friday: 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 37.5 Hours Per Week Position Overview: "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with all radiology standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures Operate radiographic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure comfort and cooperation Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines Utilize patient shielding and beam restriction techniques Review radiographs for image quality and make necessary adjustments Document patient care and imaging procedures accurately Complete and verify imaging examinations in a timely manner Assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment Maintain radiology supply inventory and equipment records Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Participate in continuing education and annual competency requirements Support department operations and additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology Active New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) ARRT Certification required Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience required Strong competency in diagnostic radiographic procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to quality, patient care, and safety
