Utilizing advanced radiographic and CT techniques to produce superior diagnostic images for physician interpretation Collaborating closely with radiologists and the wider healthcare team to ensure precise diagnoses Positioning patients accurately and calibrating equipment to achieve optimal imaging results Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues Maintaining meticulous records, including detailed imaging logs and routine equipment maintenance Delivering compassionate care throughout the imaging process, ensuring patient comfort and clarity Contributing to a safe, organized, and efficient environment in the imaging suite Education and Certification Requirements
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is necessary; Bachelor's Degree preferred Completion of an accredited radiology program is required Certification Criteria
ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography mandatory Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days from the hire date Qualities That Will Set You Apart
