Perform comprehensive evaluations on a diverse range of patients, incorporating both standardized assessments and observed behaviors across age groups. Create individualized treatment plans addressing both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions that emphasize language use, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing mechanics. Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, medical staff, caregivers, and family members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care. Facilitate educational sessions for patients and families to extend therapeutic progress beyond clinical environments. Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the patient's journey. Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Engage in ongoing professional development and peer collaboration to stay at the forefront of the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills
