Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups employing a combination of standardized tools and observational insights. Create tailored treatment plans targeting immediate objectives and long-range goals for communication, cognitive, or swallowing development. Deliver focused speech therapy sessions covering aspects like language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing mechanics. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members, developing comprehensive care strategies. Provide educational support for patients and their families, ensuring effective learning extends beyond clinic hours. Carry out occasional inpatient assessments and interventions to assure seamless care throughout the recovery journey. Maintain meticulous and prompt documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in continuous learning and professional development by keeping up with the latest advancements in the field and collaborating with peers. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if yet to achieve ASHA certification. Licenses and Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment. Desired Skills
