Facilitating surgical procedures by expertly preparing and organizing the operating room Upholding sterile environments and strict infection control measures Providing instruments and supplies to the surgical team efficiently Managing and preparing surgical equipment at all stages of operations Monitoring supply levels to ensure readiness for each surgery Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff Ensuring precise surgical counts and maintaining documentation accuracy Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program A high school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory Certifications Needed:
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is required BLS certification (or the ability to acquire it within 90 days of hire) Key Skills and Attributes:
