About
Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using a blend of standardized assessments and observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans targeting both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills. Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish unified care strategies. Provide education to patients and families, enabling them to support progress outside of the therapy room. Engage in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the treatment process. Maintain meticulous and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards. Stay updated on field advancements through ongoing education and collaborative learning with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not acquired. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills
