Preparing and organizing the operating room for surgical procedures Upholding sterile environments while following strict infection control practices Handing instruments and materials to surgeons and assistants with precision Managing surgical tools throughout each procedure, ensuring readiness Monitoring inventory and guaranteeing everything is in place for seamless operations Collaborating closely with nursing staff, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for superior patient care Documenting surgical counts and maintaining accurate records Education and Certification Requirements:
Completion of a recognized Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory Necessary Certifications:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of joining) Essential Skills and Attributes:
