About

General Operative Osborne is currently recruiting for General Operatives on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Cavan. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful organisation that offers long-term career prospects, training, and development opportunities. Successful candidates will initially work a day shift (8:30am 5:00pm) before transitioning to a rotating shift pattern after the training period. This is a permanent position with immediate opportunities available. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day production and operational activities. Handle and work safely with chemicals in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines. Follow all health and safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. Carry out manual handling duties, including some heavy lifting. Accurately input data into internal systems and maintain production records. Scan and track products using barcode scanning equipment. Perform tasks requiring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Assist with manufacturing processes and ensure production targets are achieved. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Work collaboratively with team members to support operational efficiency. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general operative role is desirable. Comfortable working in a hands-on environment involving manual handling and physical tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately. Good computer skills and confidence using systems for data entry and barcode scanning. Reliable, adaptable, and willing to learn new processes. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
