Key Responsibilities

Design individualized treatment plans that target immediate goals while considering clients' long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs. Deliver focused speech therapy sessions tailored to areas such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical staff, caregivers, and families to develop comprehensive care strategies. Provide education for patients and families to support therapeutic gains beyond the clinical setting. Occasionally perform inpatient speech therapy assessments, ensuring a seamless continuum of care for every patient. Maintain thorough and timely documentation that complies with state, federal, and institutional guidelines. Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field through professional development and collaboration with peers. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for those not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferably, a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hiring. Desirable Skills
Familiarity with evidence-based practices suitable for a wide demographic, with expertise in speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Outstanding organization and collaborative skills, essential for delivering effective care in a team-oriented environment.
