Position Overview Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for an Adult Operating Room supporting a busy Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have strong scrub experience across multiple surgical specialties and be comfortable working independently in a high-acuity trauma and teaching hospital environment. Schedule
Evening Shift Rotating Schedule Including: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
Mix of: 4 x 8-Hour Shifts 4 x 12-Hour Shifts
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience (within the last 4 years) Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center required Acute Care Hospital experience required Teaching Hospital experience preferred Strong scrub experience required First-time travelers considered only with experience in similarly sized facilities Required Certification
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required Surgical Specialties
Trauma Surgery Orthopedic Surgery General Surgery ENT Surgery Vascular Surgery Gynecology Surgery Additional Preferred Experience
Neurosurgery Bariatric Surgery Genitourinary (GU) Surgery Adult OR experience Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields Assist surgeons during operative procedures Handle surgical instruments and supplies Ensure proper aseptic and sterile techniques Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures Maintain patient safety throughout the surgical process Support efficient OR workflow in high-volume trauma environments
