Assess and evaluate individuals across a diverse range of ages, employing both standardized assessments and observational strategies. Craft individualized treatment plans targeting immediate goals while considering long-term speech, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Conduct tailored one-on-one therapy sessions addressing various aspects of speech, language, fluency, and swallowing. Work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Educate patients and their families on progress and strategies to continue therapy outside of clinical sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions to maintain seamless patient care throughout their journey. Ensure accurate and timely documentation that adheres to all regulatory guidelines. Remain informed about new advancements in the field by engaging in ongoing learning and professional exchanges. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment. Desired Skills
