Job ID: 3609361 Job Title: Full Time Dental Assistant Location: Chadds Ford, PA 19317 Schedule: Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend shifts required Benefits: Competitive hourly compensation based on your experience and certification Full healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match Paid time off and holidays for work-life balance Ongoing training and education Pathways to leadership and specialized training roles Enjoy a collaborative environment where your expertise truly matters Job Responsibilities: Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist's needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging Prepare materials for impressions and restorations Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics Requirements: Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and patient care skills Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
