Seeking a highly skilled Web Content Specialist on a freelance contract basis, this remote position will focus on auditing, rewriting, and optimizing website content to enhance performance in traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery environments. Key Responsibilities
Audit, rewrite, and standardize website content for the new digital experience Lead content optimization for modern search ecosystems, including SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with brand messaging
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in digital content, web copywriting, or content marketing, preferably in B2B or life sciences Demonstrated experience with website redesigns or large-scale content migrations Strong expertise in SEO best practices and tools, GEO/AI search optimization, and writing for AI-driven discovery environments Hands-on experience with AI content tools such as JasperAI Ability to simplify complex scientific and technical topics into engaging content
