About
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, prescribe necessary diagnostic screenings, and craft tailored healthcare plans Assess, diagnose, and treat acute or chronic conditions, working closely with healthcare professionals or independently (depending on qualifications) Instruct patients and their families on health promotion, preventive care, and chronic illness management Prescribe medications and treatment regimens within your legal scope of practice Engage in patient follow-up and management of ongoing health needs Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical systems (EMR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Credentials
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or, willingness to obtain within 90 days) Qualities That Make You Stand Out
