Engage in collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to devise unified care plans. Provide educational support to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions. Contribute to inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions when needed, ensuring seamless care continuity. Uphold meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Pursue ongoing learning and professional growth through continuing education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Achievement of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of starting employment. Skills
