Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care plans Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in partnership with physicians or autonomously (based on credentialing) Guide patients and their families on prevention strategies, wellness, and effective disease management Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies within the bounds of your practice scope Engage in patient follow-up and chronic care management initiatives Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, holistic healthcare Ensure meticulous and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Education Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Ohio National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialization Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Attributes That Make You Stand Out
