About

What Drives Success As a VRF Sales Manager , you will be responsible for VRF product sales by developing a consultative relationship with specifying engineers, manufacturer’s representatives, and residential and commercial contractors.
Contact engineers, manufacturers’ representatives, and residential and commercial contractors to obtain Lennox VRF basis-of-design specifications.
Provide a high-level application and system selection support.
Assist consulting engineers and commercial contractors to understand the full range of existing and future VRF products and services.
Conduct product introductions and training.
Work directly with Territory Managers and National Account Managers to provide VRF solutions for new and existing Lennox customers.
Provide expertise on application and system design of specialty products.
Communicate Federal, State and Local code compliance requirements and ASHRAE design guidelines.
Provide early identification of changing customer and market requirements, including trends, opportunities, and threats to the business.
Establish and nurture a viable partnership with the existing engineering firms, contractors, Sales force, and OEM customers.
What We Are Looking For
Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Requires at least 1 year of sales or engineering experience, including substantial industry-specific expertise.
VRF HVAC sales experience strongly preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with the mechanical engineering community to drive total company system specifications.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and training skills.
Sales oriented and team focused.
Must have substantial industry and product knowledge.
Requires expert abilities in building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time.
Broad knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Broad knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management Software.
What We Offer Compensation : This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $92,000 - $120,750 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 70% base salary and 30% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months. The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over‑quota achievements increase.
