As a Project Leader, you'll support the Project Management Office (PMO) by leading strategic projects and value stream improvement initiatives across the Commercial Engine Services division. In this role, you will manage projects from launch through completion while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of project objectives.
What you'll do:
Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timelinesDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables using project management toolsCoordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project execution and accountabilityMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project successSupport value stream improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects within the CES divisionFacilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholdersManage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentEnsure project documentation, reporting, and tracking are maintained accurately and consistentlyCollaborate with the PMO team to support the development and improvement of project management structures and processesDrive continuous improvement initiatives and support organizational goals through effective project execution
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 3+ years of project management experience leading projects from launch through completionExperience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneouslyExperience using Smartsheet or Microsoft Project for project planning and trackingExperience working within manufacturing, industrial, construction, aerospace, or aviation environments
Desired Skills
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferredAviation or aerospace industry experience considered an assetExperience supporting PMO development or project management structure implementationExperience supporting value stream improvement or operational excellence initiativesStrong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
