Job Description
Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures that project objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining quality standards and strong communication with stakeholders. The Project Manager works closely with engineering, operations, procurement, and customer teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteriaDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, and timelinesCoordinate internal resources and cross-functional teams to execute project tasksMonitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and objectivesBudget & Cost Management
Track project budgets and expendituresIdentify and manage cost variancesSupport forecasting and financial reporting related to project performanceEnsure projects are delivered within approved budget constraintsStakeholder & Customer Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and customersCommunicate project status, risks, and issues in a clear and timely mannerEnsure customer requirements are understood and met throughout the project lifecycleSupport resolution of customer concerns and escalationsRisk & Issue Management
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategiesTrack and resolve issues that may impact project deliveryEscalate critical risks when necessaryMaintain a risk and issue log throughout the project lifecycleDocumentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, meeting notes, and status reportsPrepare regular project status updates for internal teams and leadershipSupport development of project close-out reports and lessons learnedTeam Coordination & Communication
Facilitate project meetings including kickoff, progress reviews, and status updatesAssign and track action items to ensure completionCoordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, and service teamsEnsure alignment across all project stakeholdersProject Close-Out
Ensure all project deliverables are completed and acceptedCoordinate final documentation and customer handoverConduct post-project evaluations and capture lessons learnedSupport continuous improvement initiatives based on project outcomesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)2-5 years of experience in project management or project coordinationStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working with cross-functional teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar) preferred
