Responsibilities
Housekeeper/Floor Tech
Wage: $14.42/hourFull-time positions availableEvening shift available for Floor Tech/ Housekeeper shifts based on facility needs.Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility requiredLocation: HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital- EVS
Responsibilities
Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and moreFollow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practicesProvide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospitalPerform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floorsPerform floor stripping and extraction projects as assignedAssist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years oldCommunicate effectively in English and work well in a team environmentMust practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniformPreferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, janitor, room attendant, floor care technician, project technician, project tech, floor restoration)
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shiftPushing, pulling, and lifting furniture and equipment (25 - 100 lb.) frequentlyPushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shiftMust handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectantsMust be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
