Triumphant Nerd is sourcing a Frontend Staff Software Engineer (Infrastructure) in NYC to help build and scale the next-generation frontend architecture for our client, an AI-powered platform transforming insurance agencies. This role focuses on designing, operating, and optimizing a highly reliable, high-performance frontend infrastructure built for precision, developer enablement, and massive data scalability.
What you’ll do:
Architect Core Reliability & State Management: Fix foundational stability issues by establishing robust error boundaries, strict data consistency patterns, and comprehensive testing frameworks. Optimize High-Scale Frontend Performance: Eliminate lag and latency by driving virtualization for massive datasets, bundle optimization, and superior render performance, while building the monitoring and observability systems to catch issues early. Empower Developers & Create Infrastructure: Build the advanced abstractions, reusable patterns, and modern build tooling that enable product engineers to ship features rapidly without compromising system stability. Drive Technical Strategy & Mentorship: Lead the engineering team through complex foundational migrations, steer key technical decisions, and partner directly with company leadership on long-term engineering and product scale plans.
