Our team is interested in connecting with cleared professionals who support mission-focused work in IT Project Management and can lead and support complex technology initiatives across cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing multiple IT projects through the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery is aligned with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.
Responsibilities You may be a great fit if you have experience with:
Leading the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of IT projects and programs.
Coordinating cross-functional teams including technical staff, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and status reporting.
Facilitating Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and supporting Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Identifying project risks, dependencies, and issues while implementing mitigation strategies.
Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and change control processes.
Delivering executive-level presentations, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
Supporting resource planning and balancing multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
Working collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams in fast-paced environments.
Driving projects to successful completion while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and quality standards.
Utilizing project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience managing IT projects or programs of similar scope and complexity.
Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Highly polished communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and drive results.
Nice to Haves
PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant project management certification.
Experience supporting federal government, defense, or regulated industry environments.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or enterprise applications.
Experience managing vendors, contracts, or third‑party integrations.
Active U.S. security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)
