Contract to hire Job Summary Rockwoods is actively looking for a Solutions Engineer to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by converting project concepts into clear execution roadmaps and technical documentation. Collaborating across departments and with external partners, this role works with the Project Management Office during project initiation to define scope, gather requirements, evaluate system integration, and ensure all business, technical, and security criteria are fully finalized before implementation begins. Daily responsibilities will vary based on the specific project phase. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with corporate leaders, project owners, external partners, Information Security, IT, and multidisciplinary units to extract and specify project parameters. Analyze how newly introduced applications, software platforms, and partner products will merge with the current corporate ecosystem. Engage directly with third-party vendors to collect architectural parameters, deployment protocols, Statements of Work (SOWs), financial costs, and integration criteria. Help generate architectural diagrams, process charts, and deployment guides when vendor-provided details fall short. Confirm that all corporate, engineering, operational, and data-protection protocols are thoroughly mapped out before implementation kicks off. Aid in designing future state roadmaps, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and expandable documentation frameworks where procedural deficits exist. Moderate discussions between engineering teams and non-technical business partners to maintain institutional alignment. Pinpoint potential hazards, dependencies, system conflicts, and downstream operational effects during the initial planning phases. Guide projects seamlessly from the initial collection and discovery stage through to deployment readiness. Required Skills and Qualification A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in solutions engineering, systems analysis, technical business analysis, or an equivalent architecture-focused position. Verified expertise in translating commercial requirements into technical specifications and execution strategies. Demonstrated background drafting comprehensive system architecture documentation, structural diagrams, data flows, and functional specifications. Proven capability participating in technical engineering roundtables regarding API integrations, cloud environments, data protection, network connectivity, infrastructure dependencies, and multi-system enterprise architectures. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a matching field of study is highly preferred. Prior experience configuring or connecting platforms such as Episys, Salesforce, Lumin, OnBase, and Meridian Link is strongly desired. Background working within the banking sector, financial services, or large-scale corporate environments is considered an asset. Core Competencies Service Champion:
