As a Project Inspector/ QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising installation and construction activities onsite to ensure successful timely delivery and completion.
Many of these projects will take place during non-business hours and should be scheduled for third shift to accommodate the client. The selected Project Inspector / QA Manager will need to be available to work overnight on these shifts, Monday through Friday.
This job is part of the Construction Management function. They are responsible for ensuring all deliverables of construction projects are completed on time.
What You'll Do:
Work on site to provide direct oversight and supervision of the progress of construction activities.
Review the status of work completed during the period covered and confirm work is aligned with the approved drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with various internal and external program stakeholders including third party vendors, contractors and other site personnel to successfully coordinate and drive projects to completion.
Monitor, observe, and evaluate that the construction work being performed is in general conformance with the contract, and ensures that the contractor is taking the steps necessary to meet quality requirements.
Prepare daily reports and provide updates to the Construction Manager.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with company RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
Work within broad guidelines and policies.
Explain difficult or sensitive information.
Other duties as required to ensure successful timely delivery of all projects.
What You'll Need:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
BS Degree preferred with 5+ years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Specific working knowledge and experience in project or construction management or related profession.
Proven experience and comfortability working on site and previous managerial experience with the ability to motivate others.
Good understanding of reporting requirements and experience in writing and providing management reports.
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information and the willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. experience with Kahua is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
