The Information Architect is the end-to-end technical authority for the HR Analytics data estate, owning architecture from upstream authoritative source systems through to certified data products delivered in Microsoft Fabric. Requirement/Must Have:
Skills in Enterprise Data Architecture (Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Modeling). Experience in HR Analytics & HR Data Domains (Talent, Workforce, Compensation, Learning, People Analytics). Proficiency in Azure Data Platform (Databricks, Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture – Bronze/Silver/Gold). Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Semantic Layer, Certified Data Products, Power BI Models). Understanding of Data Integration Patterns (Batch, CDC, Streaming) & Integration Contracts. Experience in Data Governance & Standards (Unity Catalog, Business Glossary Alignment, Data Quality). Hands-on experience in Data Engineering (Complex Pipelines, Transformations, Performance Optimization). Technical Leadership experience (Architecture Reviews, Engineering Standards, DevOps Ownership). Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end information architecture for HR Analytics, from authoritative source systems through ingestion, transformation, lakehouse, semantic layer, and certified Fabric data products. Maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for HR Analytics, aligned to the enterprise business glossary and HR domain semantics. Define and own integration contracts with upstream source-system teams, including data delivery patterns, schema agreements, SLA commitments, and change management protocols. Establish and enforce engineering standards for data modeling, pipeline design, testing, documentation, and reliability. Lead architecture and design reviews, setting the quality bar for all HR Analytics data products. Act as a hands-on technical leader, contributing directly to complex pipeline builds and resolving critical engineering challenges. Partner closely with Principal Data Engineers to guide platform evolution and implementation patterns. Nice to Have:
Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Data Engineer / Data Architect. Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer. Databricks Data Engineer / Architect.
