About
High school diploma or equivalent required. Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent phlebotomy and specimen collection skills required. Strong customer service and communication skills required. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required, if applicable. Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, overtime, and travel between locations required.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen processing activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established procedures. Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper specimen labeling in the presence of the patient. Maintain required records and documentation accurately. Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Follow all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and dress code standards. Support multiple Patient Service Center and In-Office Phlebotomy locations as needed. Handle multiple priorities effectively in a high-volume environment.
Should Have:
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Minimum two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard and data entry experience preferred.
Skills:
Strong phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections. Organizational and multitasking skills required. Ability to make decisions using established procedures and sound judgment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Superior customer service focus required. Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment. Data entry and computer skills required.
Qualification and Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred.
