About
Assist with operational activities of the pharmacy.
Maintain professional working relationships at all times, with the pharmacy staff, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
Deliver high quality customer service and be available to customers at all times.
Demonstrate a friendly and helpful attitude to best address customer needs.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Assist in organize medications for pharmacist pursuant to wholesaler deliveries,
Reconcile invoices and match items received to the items billed.
Schedule deliveries, call patients and reconcile delivery records
Assess inventory and ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed.
Supports the 340B program managing inventory and helps pharmacy team maximize the effectiveness of the program.
Contribute to the pharmacy team by supporting compliance efforts, security protocols and overall pharmacy operations.
Any additional tasks assigned by the Pharmacist In Charge or the Chief of Pharmacy Services.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent is required, Two years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
Two years related Pharmacy Clerk experience, customer service experience in a pharmacy environment is preferred.
Pharmacy Clerk registration in the State of Connecticut is required or the ability to register within 90 days of hire.
The successful applicant must demonstrate high quality interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
Bilingual required (English and Spanish)
BLS Certification required (this may be obtained after hire).
