About
Roles & Responsibilities:
Represent clients in consumer bankruptcy matters, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases.Assess clients' financial situations and determine bankruptcy eligibility.Prepare, review, and file bankruptcy petitions and related legal documents.Attend court proceedings, including 341 meetings and confirmation hearings.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel while staying current on bankruptcy law developments.
Qualifications:
J.D. degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible to obtain licensure.Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-relations skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and case-management abilities.Passion for helping individuals, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in bankruptcy law.
