Summary:
We're looking for a hands-on VDC Designer who thrives in a production-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who already has a strong foundation in Revit-based MEP modeling and coordination and is ready to contribute quickly on mission critical projects.
You'll work across multi-discipline teams, partnering with engineering/design leads and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality models and coordinated solutions from early design through construction.
This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career to build coordination experience on complex, large-scale projects while working alongside experienced VDC and engineering professionals.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Autodesk Revit to produce 3D models and shop drawings for MEP systemsOwn model production and support coordination across multiple projectsInterpret MEP design drawings and translate design intent into constructible modelsUnderstand when to raise RFIs and support resolution workflowsSupport coordination efforts across disciplines, including clash detection and issue resolutionEnsure deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements and deadlinesUnderstand client preferences and construction workflows to produce accurate, constructible models and shop drawingsInterface with external design teams and contractors to resolve coordination challenges
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in VDC, BIM, or related modeling rolesStrong, hands-on Revit experience (daily production required)Hands-on experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination workflowsExperience with MEP modeling and multi-discipline coordinationExperience working in collaborative model environments with multiple linked modelsAbility to read and interpret MEP design drawings and apply design intentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills working with internal teams and external partners
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on mission critical projects (data centers preferred)Exposure to electrical and/or mechanical systems in RevitAutodesk Revit certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional: Revit) preferredBackground in consulting engineering or design environments

Compensation:
$65,000 - $90,000 / yearDepending on experience, education, skills, and/or location
