About
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and implement process improvements while tracking key quality metrics. Oversee Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to ensure product readiness. Enhance process and product capabilities to boost performance indicators. Act as the primary liaison for customer and supplier quality concerns. Manage internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Provide support for Six Sigma projects, offering expertise in problem-solving. Train and mentor a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians to achieve quality goals.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field. Experience: 7-10 years in quality management within a manufacturing setting. Knowledge: Proficiency in ISO 9001, automotive quality standards, and Six Sigma (CQE/Black Belt is advantageous). Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in Minitab and Access.
