About the Role:
Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for actively managing all aspects of one or more construction projects from inception through completion. This individual will lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and overall project execution to ensure successful delivery aligned with company standards for safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, driving schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfactionManage project setup including contracts, purchasing, budgeting, scheduling, and buyout activitiesOversee RFIs, submittals, material procurement, labor coordination, and change management to keep projects moving efficientlyReview project costs, invoices, budgets, and financial reporting to maintain strong project performancePartner with Operations, Estimating, Accounting, and Field Leadership teams throughout the project lifecycleBuild strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and project partnersLead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all stakeholdersWork closely with Project Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and with high-quality executionSupport Design-Build efforts by coordinating architects, engineers, and consultants when applicableMentor and support Assistant Project Managers and Project EngineersParticipate in client presentations, interviews, and business development opportunitiesMaintain organized project documentation and uphold professional jobsite standards
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferredEquivalent industry experience will be considered
Experience
5-6 years of experience in Project Management Experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finishDesign-Build experience preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and relationship-building skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilitiesAbility to influence and drive results across project teamsExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsStrong understanding of construction means, methods, budgeting, and schedulingAbility to analyze client needs and provide practical, cost-effective solutionsProficiency with construction management software platforms including CMiC and Microsoft OfficeAbility and willingness to travel as needed
