Position Summary
The Contract Facility Manager (CFM) supports GSA Public Buildings Service (PBS) by managing operations, inspections, and projects across federal facilities. This role ensures compliance, supports construction efforts, and serves as an on-site representative for performance, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee facility operations and ensure GSA compliance Conduct inspections and manage corrective actions Support construction and repair projects Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and stakeholders Maintain reports, documentation, and budget tracking Address tenant needs and support satisfaction initiatives Monitor building performance and operating costs Perform site inspections and represent GSA in meetings
Qualifications
5+ years of facility, construction, or property management experience Knowledge of building systems and codes Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to obtain HSPD-12 clearance Experience with Microsoft Office and GSA tools preferred
