Program/Job Coordinator

Under general supervision, the position is responsible for delivering and coordinating a comprehensive workforce-readiness and educational training program for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA )- eligible youth. The primary goal of the role is to equip participants with foundational academic skills, employability competencies, and work-based learning experiences that lead to successful job placement, continued education, and long-term self-sufficiency.
Required Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of related experience. Strongly prefer job development and teaching experience and knowledge of area businesses.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Knowledge of workforce development practices, instructional methods, and program compliance requirements (e.g., WIOA ), including serving at-risk or underserved populations
• Skill in delivering training, coordinating program activities, managing participant cases, and tracking outcomes using data systems
• Skill in building and maintaining relationships with employers, community partners, and program participants
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, manage competing priorities, and meet program performance goals
• Ability to communicate effectively, engage diverse populations, and represent the program in community-based settings
