Job Responsibilities: Supervise a small team responsible for inventory accounting activities, including close processes and reconciliations.Review bills of materials and work orders to ensure accurate inventory costing and identify variances.Lead periodic inventory counts and post adjustments in the ERP system.Manage transactions related to raw materials, prepaid inventory, work-in-progress, and finished goods.Provide inventory reporting and metrics to support strategic business decisions. Requirements: Maintain and adjust standard cost structures while tracking and analyzing variances.Identify and report on excess, obsolete, or slow-moving inventory in compliance with accounting policies.Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve inventory issues and improve related processes.Oversee ERP data cleanup and improvements to ensure inventory accuracy.Support audit activities by preparing documentation and ensuring policy compliance. Qualifications: Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.Bring at least five years of experience in inventory or cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.Demonstrate experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.Show familiarity with U.S. GAAP and inventory accounting standards.Possess strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
