About

Physician Practice Coding/Billing (FT Days) Turn accurate documentation into accurate reimbursement. As a Physician Practice Billing & Coding Specialist at NARMC, you'll apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding to clinic records, submit clean claims, resolve edits, and assist patients with billing questions. North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is an innovative, non-profit healthcare system anchored by a central hospital in Harrison, Arkansas, and 13 clinics serving the rural communities of North Arkansas. Our continuum of care includes Home Health and Hospice, including our inpatient Hospice House. More than 750 team members deliver a comprehensive range of services close to home. Guided by our values of safety, quality, integrity, and community, our mission is to provide comprehensive healthcare across North Arkansas, and our vision is to be the region's most trusted and preferred provider—one patient, one family, one neighbor at a time. Code physician practice encounters to established standards; post charges, work edits, reconcile accounts, answer billing calls, set payment arrangements per policy, and support insurance follow-up. Assign and enter ICD-10-CM/CPT/HCPCS codes; correct errors and release for billing. Handle billing inquiries; document all conversations/agreements; prepare bad-debt/subsidy files as needed. Verify insurance filing and responsibility; support phone coverage and general billing duties. Required
Training/experience in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS; knowledge of medical terminology and A&P English proficiency.
