Network Engineer We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of network systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations. Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructure. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime. Configure and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls. Perform network capacity planning, upgrades, and optimization to meet business needs. Collaborate with IT teams to support system integrations, cloud connectivity, and infrastructure projects. Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct regular network audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks. Provide technical support and resolve escalated network-related incidents. Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to network architecture.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF). Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies. Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools. Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent. Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible). Experience with SD-WAN and virtualization technologies.
