Schedule Day Shift - 3x12.0 hours Job Description The Nursing Assistant, under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs routine tasks in patient care, bedside nursing, and documentation of care provided. This role embraces superior quality care and a commitment to treating others with respect while achieving team-oriented objectives focused on patient and employee safety. ResponsibilitiesPromote patient and employee safety and follow safety policies and procedures. Perform patient care responsibilities including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and monitoring vital signs. Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in menu management systems. Prepare, assemble, deliver, and retrieve patient menus according to prescribed diets. Assist patients in making appropriate menu selections compliant with their dietary requirements. Update and validate diet changes in the patient menu system. Communicate effectively regarding patient care and food service issues. Perform clerical tasks in the Food & Nutrition office including managing office supplies. Assist other food service staff as needed. Attend in-services and departmental meetings. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (as required by state). Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience. Why ARMStaffing?
