In this role, you will perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring patient safety and delivering the highest quality care. Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, resulting in a certificate or degree. Valid IEMA license in Nuclear Medicine. Current ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification. BLS certification. Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description: As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will independently perform nuclear medicine procedures under the guidance of a radiologist. You will adhere to ALARA principles and regulatory standards to deliver safe, effective care to patients. Key Responsibilities:
Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures, including scans, injections, and therapeutic treatments. Administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols. Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, ensuring optimal safety and performance. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret results and provide accurate documentation. Educate and reassure patients about procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort.
