Utilize advanced radiographic and CT techniques to capture diagnostic images for clinical assessment Work collaboratively with radiologists and care teams to guarantee precise diagnoses Ensure patient positioning and machinery calibration is performed to maximize imaging output Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols for patients and coworkers Keep accurate records, including imaging logs and equipment service information Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the imaging experience Help maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient imaging setting Educational Background You Should Have
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred Graduation from an accredited radiologic science program Necessary Certifications
ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hiring Skills That Will Set You Apart
Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures and safety guidelines Exceptional communication skills with patients and medical staff Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced environments Detail-oriented approach with a profound sense of responsibility Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and up-to-date imaging technologies What's in Store for You
