About
Operates diagnostic imaging equipment under the supervision of a radiologic technologist. Determines how the technique selections affect optimal image quality. Follows policies and procedures. Assists Radiologic Technologist in performing duties as well as helps move patients. Ability to navigate online resources pertinent to job responsibilities. Display critical thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to access entire facility; ability to communicate with other individuals; visual acuity; ability to lift and move patients; push and pull wheelchairs and stretchers; ability to withstand extensive standing, stooping, bending, squatting or sitting; ability to push/pull and/or operate heavy machines/equipment; ability to perform repetitive tasks. Demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served. May work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Qualifications Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program, second year student. Maintains certification in BLS. Enrolled in clinical training Personal computer skills Good verbal communication skills Ability to follow instructions given by technologist
