Here, you'll do more than capture images - you'll be part of stories of recovery and resilience every day. What You'll Be Doing
Prepare patients for MRI examinations, ensuring safety, comfort, and understanding. Operate MRI equipment with skill and precision, evaluating images for quality and diagnostic value. Administer IV contrast media using sterile technique under physician supervision. Maintain MRI safety protocols, including screening patients and securing zones. Document all procedures in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems accurately and promptly. Assist in other modalities, including CT, as departmental needs require. Participate in on-call rotations with a 20-minute response time. Support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control policies. Education & Certifications
Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program. ARRT certification required; ARRT(MR) within one year of employment. Washington State Radiologic Technologist license required. BLS certification required. Preferred:
ARRT(CT) certification or eligibility within one year. One year of MRI experience. Proficiency in PACS/RIS systems. Skills & Attributes
