About
Inventory management: Receive drug orders, check in, and restock medications Assist with regular cycle counts
Collaborate with operations teams to adjudicate prescription fulfillment issues and facilitate mailing of free goods applications, consent mailers, and rescue letters Maintain pharmacy cleaning log and excel trackers as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy regulations Adhere to established safety and quality assurance protocols related to medication storage and handling Additional projects and activities as assigned Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent Active Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration Preferred QualificationsActive Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) licensure 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician 1+ years of experience of non-commercial pharmacy or specialty pharmacy experience Experience in cold chain product fulfillment Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and dosage forms Proficiency with using pharmacy management software Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team framework with pharmacists and other medical professionals Knowledge of pharmacy rules and regulations including HIPAA compliance Company BenefitsMedical Insurance, Vision and Dental included 401K Paid-Time Off Work Environment This position operates in a well-lit, mail order distribution pharmacy environment. The role routinely uses pharmaceutical equipment and safety supplies. This position operates fully on-site, with an expectation of being onsite Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts occurring between 8am-8pm. Employees must be within commuting distance of our headquarters, located at 200 Industry Drive, Coraopolis, PA 15275. RareMed will provide all necessary equipment required to ensure a functional and efficient workspace. Physical DemandsIndividual must be able to stand for extended periods of time; lift up to 20 pounds; and utilize the computer and bar code scanner. Must be able to use proper personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, gloves, eye protection and face masks when needed.
