This includes directing and developing nursing staff, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and providing comprehensive support for patients, families, and staff. ResponsibilitiesOversee nursing operations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Develop staff through training, coaching, and evaluating their performance. Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve patient needs and improve service delivery. Maintain compliance with state nursing board regulations and internal policies. Manage departmental budgets and monitor expenditures to adhere to financial standards. Facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team and with patients. Develop and implement infection control policies and protocols. Participate in professional development and maintain high standards of nursing practice. Schedule This position operates on a 19:00-07:00 shift, providing comprehensive care during the night hours. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license, with preference for multi-state licenses. ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP & TNCC certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association). A minimum of 2 years of experience as a House Supervisor in a hospital setting.
